The customer reported that the heating system was not working. I began by checking the thermostats to verify wiring and configuration, then called for a fan signal but did not hear a response. All breakers were checked and found to be in the correct position. Upon inspecting the indoor air handler, I observed error code EE2, indicating a pressure switch open. The inducer blower was warm but not operating, which caused the pressure switch issue. I tested the inducer blower capacitor and confirmed a proper 6uF reading. After removing the inducer blower assembly, I noted rough movement and inspected the motor for obstructions, but none were found. I reassembled the motor, and proper movement was observed, possibly correcting a misaligned bearing caused by a loose screw. I ran the inducer blower ten times, confirming consistent operation, and allowed the system to complete multiple full heating startup sequences successfully. Walked through the scope of work with the customer. The customer requested a structured wiring box to consolidate all hard-wired network connections in the rooms where cable was pulled during a remodel, including an additional connection in the office area; an estimate was provided and approved. They also requested relocating the 400A meter/service from the house to the side of the garage to improve appearance and reduce electronic interference, with an estimate provided and approved. Additionally, the customer requested a 240V outlet in the garage for a tanning bed; the current service is 20A 115V, and the garage houses several refrigerators. An estimate was provided for a 50A subpanel to support the tanning bed, a separate circuit for the refrigerators, and future expansion for a mini-split HVAC system. Lastly, an estimate was provided to troubleshoot and repair the jet well pump and pond outlets; this job is currently on hold.

Installed a new condenser, coil box, and furnace, removing and disposing of the old equipment. A new pan was set in place along with the furnace and coil box, with all ductwork attached and connections sealed. The condenser was placed on the existing pad and tied into the existing line set, which was flushed with R11 and nitrogen. Both high and low voltage wiring were connected to the condenser and furnace, and the flue pipe and gas line were attached to the furnace. The system was pressure tested for leaks, vacuumed down to 250 microns, and the refrigerant was released from the condenser. A new drain line and safety switches were installed, and the system was started up with airflow and refrigerant adjusted as needed. The furnace was also tested in heating mode, and at this time the entire system is operating properly.
